Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing system and network administration to Unclassified, Classified, and SCI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide system and network administration to Unclassified, Classified, and SCI systems
  • Ensure personnel with privileged access to SCI systems have and maintain the appropriate certification corresponding to the highest level of their functions as identified in DoD guidance
  • Monitor and perform maintenance on systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Collaborate with team members to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network
  • Develop and implement new methodologies and techniques to improve system and network administration

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with IT systems administration, including installing, troubleshooting, and debugging computer systems
  • 5+ years of experience with VMware products, including vSphere, vCenter, and vSAN and Veeam
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux, including RHEL, Windows, directory services, and PKI
  • 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Ansible and Satellite, and scripting, including BASH or Python
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Security+ Certification
  • Ability to obtain Linux+ Certification within 3 months of start date

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with database management, DogTag PKI, or Distributed File Systems
  • Knowledge of Web markup, including HTML, HTML5, AngularJS, and CSS, including JavaScript language
  • Knowledge of PKI Infrastructure
  • Ability to work in all areas of system administration from client to server
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or Technology
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Certification
  • RHCSA Certification
  • Linux+ Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137, annualized USD. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
