Job Title: IT Program Manager

Corning Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled IT Program Manager to lead our IT projects and programs. As an IT Program Manager, you will be responsible for designing communication plans, overseeing project alignment, and resolving project issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of multiple concurrent projects and resource teams.
  • Employ Agile methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop project plans and schedules, financial tracking, risk management plans, and project documentation.
  • Ensure all Corning Quality Processes are followed and required artifacts are maintained on the project repository site.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT and software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of business and operational processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle stress and pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills and Certifications:
  • Knowledge of Product Service Delivery Model.
  • 10+ years of prior experience as a Program Manager with domain experience.
  • 5+ years of direct supervisory experience of virtual teams.
  • Experience using Agile Tools such as Kanban Boards, JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, or Planview.
