At EG America, we are seeking a highly skilled Fuel Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our fuel inventory and accounting records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Match fuel deliveries to bill of ladings and resolve any discrepancies
  • Verify vendor fuel invoices against confirmed bill of ladings
  • Work with carriers and vendors to resolve issues related to fuel deliveries and invoices
  • Obtain missing paperwork from stations and manually enter missing data into the system
  • Work with the manager of supply and fuel distribution to resolve costing discrepancies
  • Process credits and rebills with vendors
  • Work with the tax team to resolve tax discrepancies
  • Review fuel inventory and research discrepancies
  • Work with IT to resolve ATG issues
  • Verify cross drops with the supply and fuel distribution team
  • Work with retail accounting to receive credit card reports
  • Work with store edit specialists to ensure missing sales are applied to both fuel and merchandising sales
Working Relationships:

You will work closely with our IT, fuel distribution, and supply teams, as well as our stations, ATG teams, tax team, and store edit specialists to ensure all issues with fuel are resolved in a timely manner.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma required, bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
  • 1-2 years of general office experience, 1-2 years of experience in fuel accounting preferred
Working Conditions:

This is a Monday-Friday, 40-hour per week position with no driving requirements. You will be required to travel once a year for our shadow a manager program.
