Key Responsibilities
  • Implement high-quality occupational therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices.
  • Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
  • Develop relationships with referral sources and maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients.
  • Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
  • Stay current with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) in daily work.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
  • National registration and state licensure or registration required.
  • CPR certification.
  • Valid state driver's license.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during the workday.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to evaluate, diagnose, and monitor patient needs.
  • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
