Caregiver Role Overview

At Homewatch CareGivers of King of Prussia, we're seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Caregiver. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to aging and/or disabled individuals who require assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities:

* Provide personal care services, including hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, meal preparation, and grooming, while respecting each client's plan of care and personal preferences.
* Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed, such as dusting, laundry, and dishes.
* Assist clients with medication reminders, ensuring they take the correct dose at the correct time as prescribed.
* Encourage clients to maintain their independence by allowing them to direct their care and participate in daily activities.
* Accompany clients to appointments and social outings as needed.

Requirements:

* Be physically capable of assisting clients with mobility issues, transportation, and ambulation.
* Possess a current Tuberculosis (PPD) test, including a 2-Step Skin Injection/Chest X-ray/Quantiferon Blood Work.
