Job Summary:

The Assistant Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our branches, ensuring that all departments and functions are running efficiently. This includes supervising sales personnel, reviewing credit applications, and establishing security processes. The successful candidate will also act as a backup salesperson when necessary to ensure the overall success of the branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise sales personnel to ensure superior customer service and profitable sales
  • Review credit application progress to ensure timely processing
  • Establish and maintain security processes
  • Act as backup salesperson when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for effective interaction with customers, vendors, management, and team members
  • 2+ years' experience in middle management position
  • Demonstrated product knowledge and industry expertise
  • Ability to operate a PC and related software
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively staff, manage, and motivate personnel
  • Customer service mentality with experience in conflict resolution
  • Highly organized and efficient at prioritizing workload
  • Must be able to pass a company-required drug test and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in wholesale roofing supplies or equivalent
