Position Overview
Lazy Bear is seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to enhance our dynamic kitchen team. As a distinguished 2 Michelin Star establishment, we pride ourselves on crafting modern American dishes that highlight seasonal and premium ingredients. Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in a high-end kitchen, preferably with Michelin experience.
- Ambitious professionals eager to develop their careers with us.
- Positive attitude, personal integrity, meticulous attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit.
- California Food Handler Certification required.
- References from previous supervisors or chefs are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and organizing deliveries.
- Basic butchering and protein preparation.
- Setting up kitchen stations and ensuring readiness.
- Preparing mise en place and assembling ingredient kits for recipes.
- Creating stocks and foundational sauces.
- Conducting detailed vegetable preparation and groundwork for preservation tasks.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace at all times.
- Executing dishes during service with precision.
