Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Case Manager Supervisor to join our team at Comprehensive Health Services. As a Case Manager Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Shelter Department, including supervising Lead Case Managers, conducting on-the-job training for new hires, and ensuring that all time sheets are validated and approved.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, psychology, or a related field, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience and 5 years of case management experience with children. You will be bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and communication skills. Additionally, you will be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

As a Case Manager Supervisor, you will work closely with counselors and care coordinators to ensure effective communication and collaboration. You will also be responsible for maintaining the database in accordance with contract policies and procedures, providing reports to management as needed, and performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise Lead Case Managers for the Shelter Department
  • Conduct on-the-job training for new hires
  • Ensure all time sheets are validated and approved
  • Ensure all injuries and accidents are reported according to Acuity International policy
  • Coordinate case management and intake services for adolescents
  • Supervise and monitor the intake process flow
  • Ensure children are provided with required services in accordance with contract policies and procedures
  • Ensure assessments are conducted in accordance with contract policies and procedures
  • Report significant incidents in accordance with contract policies and procedures
  • Work closely with counselors and care coordinators
  • Maintain the database in accordance with contract policies and procedures
  • Provide reports to management as needed
Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (Read, Write and Speak)
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • 5 years of case management experience with children
  • 2 years of conducting in-service training
  • Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other common office equipment
  • Clean criminal background check
  • Clean Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) or child protective services check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science
  • 2 years of experience working with the at-risk, adolescent population
