Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders involved in the loan application process, including customers, brokers, loan officers, and team members, to guarantee a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams and external entities to gather necessary documentation for processing, such as Employment Verifications, IRS Transcripts, Title Searches, appraisals, and FHA case assignments.
  • Promptly inform relevant parties of any discrepancies concerning standard mortgage guidelines.
  • Prepare and reconcile necessary reports as required.
  • Monitor incoming loan conditions through various communication channels.
  • Assess and document received materials in the loan processing system.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines by reviewing system entries.
  • Uphold compliance and operational risk controls in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that reflects the company’s values.
  • Maintain internal control standards, addressing audit points and regulatory concerns as necessary.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
Scope of Responsibilities
  • Engage closely with both internal and external customers, including colleagues, borrowers, loan officers, brokers, and correspondents.
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • At least one year of experience in clerical, customer service, operations, or the financial services sector.
  • Proficient PC skills with a strong command of word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications.
  • Ability to make informed decisions based on available information.
  • Familiarity with product, investor, and compliance requirements.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic mortgage environment.
  • Capability to work independently under time constraints.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
Preferred Education
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
