Job Title: Athletic Trainer/Tech

At Amberwell Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer/Tech to join our team. As an Athletic Trainer/Tech, you will play a vital role in the health care of athletes, specializing in the prevention, recognition, management, rehabilitation, and education of sports injuries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform testing as part of pre-employment, post-accident, and annual testing
  • Conduct strength testing for post-offer purposes, Breath Alcohol, Drug Screen collections, audiometer, respirator fit testing, and spirometry testing
  • Assist in the flow of the clinic by greeting customers, answering phones, communicating with patients, and employers
  • Document services and complete documentation on a daily basis to ensure charges flow within the EMR system
  • Provide medical assistance to the physician during workers' compensation care and sports medicine patients
  • Maintain knowledge of the needs and customer satisfaction of the companies contracted for services
  • Perform patient education as directed by the physician, including crutch training, splint application, and brace application
  • Assist in donning and doffing casting applications
  • Assist the physician in performing in-office procedures, including joint injections, draining of fluid, and ultrasound guidance

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Required Experience: Clinical experience with athletes and acute care of injuries
  • Preferred Experience: Two to three years
  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training
  • Preferred Education: Licenses: State License, NATA License
  • Minimum Required Certifications: CPR Certification
