Position Summary:
This role is an integral part of our Application Specialist team within the Customer Service division.

As a Press Brake Application Consultant at Mate Precision Technologies, you will assist our clients in selecting the optimal Press Brake tooling solutions for their sheet metal fabrication needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their fabrication requirements.
  • Develop engineering concept CAD drawings and solid models to illustrate proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with our Sales team to support successful sales efforts.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of various material types and forming principles.
  • Demonstrate practical knowledge of sheet metal best practices, particularly in bending sequences.
  • Exhibit a solid grasp of Press Brake setup and operation.
  • Bring a minimum of 4 years of experience in the sheet metal industry.
  • Show proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or similar tools.
  • Communicate effectively in both oral and written English.
  • Fluency in an additional language is preferred.

Working Conditions:
Expect prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and engaging with a computer.

Compensation and Benefits:
