About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diversity and Inclusion Consultant to join our team at Securian Financial Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies that promote a culture of belonging and equity throughout our workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute DEI Strategies: Collaborate with business leaders and HR teams to design and implement effective DEI strategies that align with our business objectives and drive progress against marketplace and workplace goals.
  • Lead the DEI Council: Serve as the chair of our DEI Council, working closely with key leaders from across the organization to advance our DEI agenda and ensure that our initiatives are inclusive and effective.
  • Provide Expertise and Guidance: Offer subject matter expertise and guidance to HR teams and business leaders on DEI-related matters, including program design, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Build Relationships and Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with external organizations and stakeholders to advance our DEI goals and promote our brand as a leader in diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, with a minimum of three to five years of experience in DEI strategy development and implementation.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
