About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Hunterdon Health Care System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care through the application of the nursing process and established guidelines of nursing practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Initial Intake: Greet patients, obtain vital signs, and conduct initial assessments
  • Patient Room Preparation: Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and prepared for patient care
  • Patient Order Management: Process and manage patient orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Point of Care: Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments as needed
  • Patient Safety: Identify and mitigate potential safety risks, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Reporting Relationships: Collaborate with Nurse Manager, Nurse Supervisor, Practice Manager, Office Manager, and Practice Director to ensure seamless communication and coordination

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: Required - Nursing diploma; Preferred - Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • License, Registry or Certification: Required - Current New Jersey RN license, CPR certification, or obtain certification within 6 months
  • Skills and Abilities: Good communication and interpersonal skills, decision-making ability, telephone etiquette, detail-oriented, multitasking ability, and ability to handle a high volume of patients

Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
