Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pulmonary Thoracic Care Unit (PTCU) team. As a RN in this unit, you will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of nursing skills, working with cardiac-thoracic, hepatobiliary, and head and neck surgical teams, as well as high-risk respiratory patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
  • Independently plan and implement patient care, utilizing clinical knowledge and practice standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
  • Less than one year of experience as a registered professional nurse.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Other required cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Unit-specific RN attributes.
