Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician to join our team. As a member of our Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, you will be part of a nationally recognized practice dedicated to the prevention and treatment of diseases through quality patient care, education, research, and professional development.

Our Team is committed to developing long-term treatment programs and responding to medical needs in both inpatient and outpatient settings. We are proud to serve as Georgia's first designated Care Center Network awarded by the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

Our Advanced Lung Disease Program offers a comprehensive approach to diagnosing, treating, and providing specialty care for patients with complex lung conditions. Our multidisciplinary team includes pulmonologists and advanced practice providers trained in the specialized evaluation and treatment of advanced lung diseases.

Our Critical Care Specialists are available 24/7 in the hospital and are ready to treat patients in need of immediate attention. Our right care, right now approach ensures rapid treatment of critically ill patients, helping to save lives.

Our Interventional Pulmonary Program was established in 2017 and offers a state-of-the-art bronchoscopy procedure suite and various therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. We are the first in the state of Georgia to offer the endobronchial lung volume reduction valves for patients with severe emphysema.

Our Sleep Program assesses, diagnoses, and treats all types of sleep disorders, delivering the highest quality of care and service. Our comprehensive program includes high-quality hospital-based sleep labs accredited by the AASM, as well as convenient Home Sleep Testing options.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO Medical Degree
  • BC/BE in pulmonary & critical care or BC/BE in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep
  • Active license in Georgia or eligible to obtain
  • United States Residency and Fellowship training
