Job Overview
Summary
- Responsible for the effective operation of machinery to produce and supply metal end products to clients.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including Job Safety Analyses and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Manage the preparation of raw materials, including the removal of packaging and the setup of metal coils for production.
- Oversee the handling and disposal of scrap materials generated during the manufacturing process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Be available for overtime as required, which may include extended hours and weekend shifts.
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed and fulfill all physical demands of the role.
- Stand for prolonged periods and perform tasks that require bending and twisting.
- Safely handle sharp metal components while using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Complete tasks as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Previous experience in manufacturing or production is advantageous.
- Must pass relevant job competency assessments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Capacity to follow detailed instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Awareness of surroundings and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
