Resumen

El Especialista en Cuentas de Pacientes tiene la responsabilidad de optimizar el flujo de efectivo asegurando que se mantenga un registro preciso y completo de cada saldo pendiente de los miembros. Este puesto también se encargará de documentar y ejecutar la conciliación de cuentas a través de posibles ajustes y reembolsos en las cuentas de los pacientes. Además, el especialista supervisará y trabajará en los informes de errores de pago y reversos semanalmente.

Responsabilidades

  • El colector de cuentas por cobrar de pacientes será responsable de validar los saldos de los pacientes.
  • Colaborar con otros departamentos para determinar la validez y realizar llamadas salientes a los pacientes para cobrar saldos.
  • Este puesto requiere trabajar dentro de varios sistemas operativos diferentes, incluyendo Microsoft Office.

Requisitos

  • 1+ año(s) de experiencia en la realización o explicación de reembolsos/colecciones de atención médica o facturación de seguros médicos.
  • 1+ año(s) de experiencia realizando trabajo telefónico explicando la responsabilidad del paciente/miembro.
  • 1+ año(s) de experiencia en colecciones de pagos propios.
  • 1+ año(s) de experiencia en Microsoft Office, específicamente en Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook y Microsoft Word.
  • Capacidad para realizar múltiples tareas, gestionar proyectos simultáneos y priorizar tareas en un entorno dinámico, mostrando una fuerte atención al detalle.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente y colaborar en un entorno de equipo.
  • Habilidad para cumplir con plazos y manejar múltiples tareas.
  • Excelentes habilidades de resolución de problemas.
  • Calificaciones mínimas (requeridas): (deben cumplirse para desempeñar el trabajo al nivel requerido) Posición de nivel de entrada.
  • 0-2 años de experiencia en facturación farmacéutica. Fuertes habilidades de comunicación, interpersonales y de priorización.
  • Debe ser altamente organizado y orientado a los detalles.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno dinámico y en rápida evolución. Buenas habilidades informáticas que requieren conocimientos básicos de Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook y buenas habilidades de mecanografía.
  • Educación: Se requiere un diploma de secundaria verificable o GED.
