We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at the University of California, Irvine. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care to assigned patients in the ICU, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain a high level of patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current California RN license.
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
