We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at the Kitsap County Jail in Port Orchard, WA.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a graduate of an accredited program for practical or vocational nursing with a current, unrestricted nursing license in the state of Washington. A valid CPR card and a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting are also required.

Responsibilities
  • Take and document patient history and vital signs
  • Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical surgical procedures and examinations and/or treatments
  • Administer medications
  • Perform venipuncture and I.V. therapy
  • Collect samples, specimens and cultures
  • Transcribe therapeutic orders
