About This Role

Community Radiology Associates is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams on incoming patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
  • Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view, and other adjustments and factors on the equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Guide patients through the exam process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements
  • ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
