Job Title: Cart Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cart Maintenance professional to join our team at Amcor plc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our gravure press and material handling processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform process and support tasks in the Press Room, Roll Stand, and Material Handling areas.
  • Receive product from the press, stack, and place on pallets.
  • Print pallet labels with Pecas and ensure correct loading of product onto pallets.
  • Ensure quality of jobs completed by reviewing for quality and accuracy.
  • Notify operators of any problems or errors.
  • Perform downtime duties, including webbing the press and cleaning the press area.
  • Assist operators when the press is down and perform make-ready duties.
  • Operate a forklift to move loads of raw materials, in-process stock, or finished goods throughout the facility.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma (or GED) and one to three years of related production experience.
  • Must have very good mechanical and physical ability.
  • Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for operation of all company equipment.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive functions.
