Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse - BSN to join our Emergency Department team at Health First. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote effective communication.
  • Utilize Health First computer systems to document patient care and communicate with healthcare teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing with a BSN degree.
  • Current Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
  • Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card and ACLS certification.
  • NIHSS certification required.
  • Ability to speak and understand written and verbal instructions in English.
Physical and Mental Demands
  • Must have visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform clinical tasks.
  • Must be able to lift, turn, pull, push, or ambulate patients/equipment up to 90% of the assigned shift.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop up to 90% of assigned shift.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with patients/families at various ages and levels of understanding.
