Key Responsibilities
  • Tutoring and Mentoring: Provide one-on-one support to students in need of academic assistance, helping them to understand and complete coursework.
  • Student Interventions: Identify and address potential barriers to student success, working with students to develop strategies for overcoming challenges.
  • Record Maintenance: Accurately maintain records of student interactions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Event Support: Assist with the planning and execution of events and activities designed to promote student engagement and success.
  • Technology Support: Provide basic technical support to students, helping them to troubleshoot and resolve issues with college resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently enrolled as a Lone Star College student, pursuing a course of study.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with college resources and services, as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Working Conditions
