Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Methods Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our innovative team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying methods and software tools in support of nuclear reactor design, modeling, and analysis.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy methods and software tools in support of nuclear reactor design, modeling, and analysis.
  • Support licensing activities and implementation of advanced methods to enable growth of Nuclear Fuel business on critical initiatives.
  • Lead efforts to improve existing analysis methods and enhance computational performance.
  • Interface with customers and multi-functional project teams.
  • Perform engineering design and analysis and propose solutions to complex problems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, experience working effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience interfacing with customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in nuclear engineering or related field.
  • Strong technical foundation in methods pertaining to neutronics, reactor physics, and core analysis.
  • Experience with BEACON Core Monitoring System and/or the Westinghouse nuclear code suite.
