Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Wooster Community Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate under the direction of the Imaging Services Director and/or Manager to perform diagnostic testing, therapeutic exams, and moderate interventional procedures.
  • Evaluate physician orders for accuracy and pertinent clinical information to ensure a complete and accurate exam.
  • Identify the correct patient for each exam and maintain patient confidentiality throughout the process.

Requirements:

  • BLS certification is required and must be maintained while in the position.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required for Radiographic, CT, MRI, Cardiac Cath Lab, Bone Density, Mammography, and Special Procedures Lab modalities.
  • A valid ODH license is required for all modalities.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Basic computer skills with the ability to navigate PACS/RIS systems.
  • 3 years of previous experience in medical imaging is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • The MRI Technologist may be exposed to blood, body fluids, and/or airborne pathogens and is required to wear protective barriers.
  • The employee must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, turn, crouch, and bend as necessary to complete radiology exam tasks.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
