Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our team at Reef Capital Partners, a leading investment firm in the commercial real estate industry. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for developing and executing public relations strategies that enhance the reputation of Black Desert Resort and other Reef properties.

With a strong background in public relations, communications, or a related field, you will have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in media relations, crisis communications, and executive messaging. Your ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media members, community leaders, and internal teams, is essential to your success in this role.

You will work closely with our Vice President of Communications and Events to lead strategic planning, management, and execution of public relations efforts. This includes shaping and promoting the brand's image through media relations, crisis communications, community outreach, executive positioning, and cross-departmental collaboration. You will develop relationships with media and community stakeholders, manage inbound inquiries, and oversee all communications policies and SOPs.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. Experience in the hospitality, real estate, or luxury resort industries is preferred. You must have a proven track record of driving revenue, enhancing brand visibility, and building strong community relations. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and team leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with company match, generous health insurance, flexible paid time-off, cell phone service allowance, and discounts at company-owned resorts.
