The Retail Operations Supervisor collaborates with the management team to align with daily, weekly, and monthly store objectives. Responsibilities include participating in merchandise arrangement, fulfillment processes, and maintaining store organization.

Store Manager and/or Co-Manager

Key Responsibilities:


Enhance In-Store Experience by exemplifying customer engagement behaviors, mentoring team members to achieve store objectives, and addressing customer inquiries with urgency.

Guarantee a positive shopping experience by upholding DSW store standards. Ensure all operational tasks related to daily opening and closing procedures are executed, including store cleanliness and maintenance.

Achieve and surpass performance metrics by analyzing, understanding, and effectively communicating daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Clearly articulate business trends to Store Manager and other leaders.

Review daily communications; organize and delegate tasks throughout the day/week/month while ensuring follow-through on required actions.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager or other leadership personnel.

Drive sales and operational success by maintaining the sales floor and stockroom, facilitating merchandise flow to create an appealing shopping environment.

Supervise and participate in planning and executing all inventory management activities, including freight receipt, product placement, markdowns, and other related tasks.

Oversee all omni-channel activities in-store, including Charge/Send, BOPIS/BOSTS, and Delivery services.

Utilize inventory reports to optimize productivity and enhance merchandise presentation on the sales floor.

Ensure a safe environment for both customers and associates by regularly checking equipment and maintaining operational standards.

Manage supply inventory to support successful floor moves, markdowns, and fulfillment in stockroom and non-sales areas.

Complete all documentation related to audits, donations, transfers, and damages.

Assist the Store Manager in realizing DSW's Mission, Vision & Strategy within the store.

Work closely with the Store Manager to understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Support the Store Manager and other leaders in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.

Contribute to team development by training, coaching, and providing constructive feedback to associates.

Assist the Store Manager in addressing associate relations issues.

Participate in the Performance Review process by conducting performance evaluations for associates and leads.

Support the team in managing payroll and timekeeping functions.

Recognize team members through company recognition programs.

Preferred Qualifications:
Some college education preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
