Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Next Door Eatery. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Take food and drink orders, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and clear tables, serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our menu, including food preparation details and special promotions.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service.
  • Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Perform side work, setup, and assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about our menu, beverages, and promotions to provide expert recommendations to guests.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for guests and colleagues, adhering to company safety and cleanliness standards.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of restaurant experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, including menu items and ingredients.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
