Job Summary:
Aerotek is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing various components and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret production orders, work instructions, and blueprints to assemble and test components and products.
- Kit and assemble parts, using hand and power tools, to meet quality and production standards.
- Use measuring tools, gauges, and test equipment to ensure accurate and precise assembly.
- Build and assemble cabinets, spray guns, pumps, frames, power supplies, lamp heads, and wires.
- Enter data into computer systems and use RF Scan Guns to track inventory and materials.
- Use drills, screwdrivers, torch wrenches, and other hand tools to assemble and test components.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of assembly experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Experience with hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, and torch wrenches.
- Ability to lift 45 lbs and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
