This position is critical for driving innovation and application development within our biotechnology firm.

Location: Wilmington, Delaware

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of HPLC and LCMS experiments to support product development.
  • Enhance the technical understanding and market implementation of HPLC columns.
  • Oversee the scientific writing efforts of the applications team, including the creation of data reports, technical papers, and conference abstracts.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to technical personnel and project teams.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting common instrument issues based on chromatographic data.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and address unexpected results.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Ability to lead teams and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in supervising and managing scientific teams.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. with a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.

  • Background in biochemistry is advantageous.
  • Commitment to safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences and client meetings as necessary.
