Director of Scholarships

InsideHigherEd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Scholarships to join our team. As a key member of our financial aid department, you will be responsible for leading the operation of the Scholarships Office and the awarding of university scholarships.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and lead full-time staff who are responsible for processing departmental, private, and athletic scholarship funds.
- Manage UTA's institutional general recruitment scholarship program, including developing awarding criteria and programming to identify qualified candidates and create award plans to support enrollment goals.
- Monitor procedures and review and evaluate reports for trends and progress.
- Collaborate with staff from Recruitment and Admissions Processing in support of recruitment efforts to meet enrollment goals.
- Represent the university at recruitment and other programming where scholarships provide increased value to the audience.
- Collaborate with the Financial Aid Office to provide coordinated information regarding financial aid and scholarships to prospective and current students.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of experience in financial aid, scholarship, or enrollment management administration, including three years of experience supervising full-time staff.
- Experience with the administration of scholarships through Next Gen Scholarship Management System or other endowment management systems, ImageNow or other document imaging systems, and website maintenance software.
- Experience using CRM and knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or other Student Information Systems.
