Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide personable and professional service to guests, ensuring a positive experience at the Royal Oak Music Venue.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately manage cash transactions, including handling tips and making change.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirits available, and be able to suggestively upsell products to guests.
  • Responsible Serving: Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, following all proper procedures and state/federal regulations.
  • Guest Interaction: Listen and respond to customer requests and concerns, and de-escalate intoxicated guest situations as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Six months or more experience bartending.
  • Cash Handling: Accurate cash handling skills.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Scheduling: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
