Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Scientist/Engineer to support our Environmental business line in the Chelmsford, MA office. This position will primarily work on Federal projects with EPA and DOD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize scientific principles, theories, and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
  • Prepare technical work plans and reports, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, and compare findings to relevant studies.
  • Plan, execute, analyze, and report on environmental measures in natural systems.
  • Apply standard field practices and techniques using basic field equipment to collect samples and complete chain-of-custody paperwork.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Geology, Chemistry, or Environmental Science, plus 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License and US Citizenship.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) development, environmental field sampling, and laboratory coordination on EPA Superfund Sites is preferred.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location and individual qualifications.
