Certified Operating Room Technician

Key Responsibilities:
As a Surgical Technologist with KA Recruiting Inc., you will work under the direct supervision of a surgeon to ensure the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.
Key duties include:
- Ensuring the operating room environment is safe and equipment functions properly
- Handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure
- Understanding the procedure being performed and anticipating the needs of the surgeon
- Assisting in draping the sterile field, passing instruments to the surgeon, and maintaining the highest standard of sterile technique
- Assisting with terminal cleaning of the room, cleaning and preparing instruments for terminal sterilization, and prepping the surgical suite for the next patient
- Providing training and support to new employees and students in the Surgical Technologist role
Requirements:
Must have experience in General, Total Joint, and Arthroscopic Surgery
