Sterile Processing Tech Job Description

As a Sterile Processing Tech at KA Recruiting Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care by maintaining a clean and sterile environment for surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the sterile processing supervisor, perform duties related to the basic function of the department, including following hospital policies and procedures
  • Properly clean and prepare instrumentation for sterilization
  • Transport soiled and sterile instruments to the operating room area
  • Maintain competency in sterile processing processes
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor

Requirements:

  • BLS certification is mandatory
  • CSPDT certification is required
