Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver Support Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver Support Specialist, you will provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs, helping them to achieve their developmental goals and live a fulfilling life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities and behavioral support.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to help participants achieve their developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Support participants in their daily activities, including community integration and participation in favorite activities.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless support and care for participants.
  • Document participant progress and provide regular updates to the care team.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
