Job Summary

We are seeking talented, hardworking individuals who share our conviction that government can make a difference. The ideal candidate will serve in a full-time client-facing role as a production and design officer for an Intelligence Community (IC) client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and Publish Intelligence Articles: Review and publish intelligence articles, graphics, and interactive visuals to ensure accuracy and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Content Management: Ready products for publication and posting them to the website, ensuring timely and efficient dissemination of critical information.
  • Record Keeping: Review and archive records for products, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Workflow Management: Support work-flow tools to meet timelines, ensuring seamless collaboration with analysts, graphic designers, cartographers, and content managers.
  • Methodology Development: Develop new methodologies for visualization of products, staying ahead of the curve in terms of innovative techniques and tools.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to support contributing authors, managers, editors, production officers, graphic designers, and cartographers.
  • Publication Formatting: Format the contents of publications according to the publications style, editorial policy, and publishing standards.
  • Publication Oversight: Oversee publication production, including layout and computer typesetting, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of three (3) years professional work experience with HTML or a combination of relevant experience and a B.A. in graphic design, communications, publication, or a related field.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: HTML5, Dreamweaver, Adobe Creative Suite Design or Premium (Acrobat Pro, Photoshop).
Desired Qualifications
  • Proof-reading or Copy Editing Experience: Proof-reading or copy editing experience is highly desirable.
  • Comfort with Minimal Oversight: Comfortable working with minimal government oversight.
  • Computer Database Skills: Comfortable using computer databases and systems.
  • Intelligence Community Knowledge: Knowledge of the organizations within the Intelligence Community is a plus.
