Pharmacy Relief Specialist

This position is essential for ensuring the health and well-being of our community. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in dispensing medications and providing expert advice to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee pharmacy operations, including staff management and administrative tasks.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service.
- Adhere to all federal and state regulations, maintaining compliance with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.
- Provide accurate prescription services, reviewing and verifying prescriptions for correctness.
- Offer guidance on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication usage.
- Assist customers with over-the-counter medications and health products.
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash and credit payments.
- Monitor patient adherence to prescribed therapies to prevent misuse.
- Manage inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies, ensuring proper storage.
- Maintain comprehensive records, including patient profiles and inventory logs.
- Deliver specialized services for chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication regimens.
- Compound and dispense medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Engage in health promotion activities, educating patients on nutrition and device usage.
- Refer patients to other healthcare providers when necessary.
- Establish and uphold procedures for the safe handling and disposal of pharmaceuticals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
