Position Summary
We are looking for a diligent and dedicated 3rd Shift Operations Management Leader who will be stationed at a major international airport. This role is essential for ensuring consistent quality service, effective cost management, and fostering a strong team environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. **Quality Service Management**: Oversee daily operations to ensure top-notch service for our clients. This includes:
- Leading detailed cabin cleanings, focusing on the cockpit, galley, lavatory, and passenger seating areas.
- Managing exterior aircraft cleaning, even in challenging weather conditions.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness in facilities as required.
- Conducting quality control checks on all aircraft to meet established standards.
- Organizing team efforts to optimize labor hours and enhance cleaning efficiency.
- Upholding safety protocols throughout all operations.
Success metrics include achieving high cabin scores and favorable quality audit results.
2. **Cost Management and Compliance**: Maintain financial metrics and documentation to support profitability, including:
- Creating weekly and monthly staff schedules that align with labor metrics.
- Ensuring adequate work hours for team retention.
- Maintaining compliance with airport regulations regarding employee badging.
- Documenting hazards and completing necessary forms.
- Managing inventory and coordinating orders with logistics.
Success metrics include 100% compliance with closeout forms and adherence to labor metrics.
3. **Team Development**: Build and maintain a cohesive team through effective communication and collaboration:
- Fostering daily positive interactions with team members.
- Setting developmental goals for team members with leadership support.
- Training staff in quality standards, checklist usage, and safety protocols.
- Collaborating with the back office for recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Documenting employee performance and advocating for team member recognition.
- Assisting other teams to strengthen overall operations.
Success metrics include maintaining an annual turnover rate of less than 35%.
Reporting Structure
The Operations Management Leader will report directly to the Program Manager and work closely with the Aviation Supervisor to ensure comprehensive coverage for our clients.
Qualifications
1. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
2. Strong attention to detail in cleaning and operational tasks.
3. Medical clearance to operate heavy machinery.
4. Excellent communication skills and availability for contact at all times.
5. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
6. Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.
