Position Overview

Work Schedule:

Full-time position, 40 hours per week. Day shifts are scheduled from Monday to Friday, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Flexibility in hours may be required based on departmental needs.

We are looking for a Pedorthist to:
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to establish the best treatment strategies and select suitable foot orthoses and pedorthic footwear in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
  • Design, create, fit, and adjust foot orthoses and pedorthic footwear.
  • Engage in patient- and family-centered care within a primary and specialty care academic medical facility.
  • Pursue ongoing educational opportunities to enhance personal practice and share knowledge with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a residency accredited by the American Board of Certification.
Experience:

Minimum Requirement: Prior experience in healthcare.

Preferred: At least two years of experience as a Pedorthist.

Licensure and Certification:

Minimum Requirement: Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics as a Certified Pedorthist.
