Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pedorthist to join our team at UW Health. As a Pedorthist, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to determine optimal treatment plans and select appropriate foot orthoses and pedorthic footwear for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with our team to design, fabricate, fit, and modify foot orthoses and pedorthic footwear.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthotics and prosthetics to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an American Board of Certification accredited Residency.
- Minimum of prior healthcare experience.
- Preferred: Two (2) years of experience as a Pedorthist.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics as a Certified Pedorthist.
