About the RoleThe Nursing Support Technician provides high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed professionals. This role involves assisting with activities of daily living, providing comfort measures and nourishments, and performing tasks as delegated by a licensed professional. The NST primarily functions in inpatient settings and may be cross-trained to serve as a patient safety monitor and/or unit clerk.
Required Skills and Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- One of the following: Georgia Nursing Assistant Certification, Patient Care Technician (PCT) Program completion, or Basic Nursing Fundamental Course completion from an accredited school of nursing
