About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Engineer Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our clinical engineering team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting medical equipment to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and as-needed clinical engineering services, including repair, maintenance, relocation, and installation of medical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of equipment, inventory, service, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with information technology staff to integrate medical equipment systems with information systems applications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in biomedical or electronic engineering required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years of Cleveland Clinic Clinical Engineering Tech I experience or four years outside experience maintaining and troubleshooting medical equipment or equipment in a mechanical or electrical technician field required.
  • Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE) or Biomedical Engineering Technologist (BMET) certification preferred.
