We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician II to join our team at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform certified DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on diesel engines, transmissions, and other systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education or certifications preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a power technician on medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skill/experiences
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet Cox Automotive Mobility minimum driving qualification standards
  • DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment or within 72 hours of hire
