About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.
  • Develop and manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Conduct ongoing financial analysis, interpreting complex financial data and providing recommendations based on this data.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and principles.
  • Manage and monitor all aspects of cost accounting and manufacturing finance, ensuring accurate cost analysis and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to establish financial strategies, objectives, and plans to facilitate growth and meet the company's profitability goals.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering or Manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, financial reporting, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data, ability to create meaningful financial reports, and ability to handle complex financial concepts and make recommendations based on analysis.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
