We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Respiratory Care Department as Director of Respiratory Care Services. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement departmental goals and objectives that align with the hospital's strategic plan.
- Lead and manage a team of respiratory care professionals to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of respiratory care services.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies to ensure the department remains current and effective.
- Three years of administrative or management experience in an acute care hospital directing, assigning, and evaluating respiratory care staff.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the California State Respiratory Care Board.
- Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care, Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, or related Healthcare field.
- Master's degree in Respiratory Care, Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, or related Healthcare field.
