Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Youth In Need. As a Preschool Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment that fosters the growth and development of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and thrive.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning experience for children.
  • Provide responsive care and demonstrate exemplary classroom management skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and implement new ideas and strategies in the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited college/university.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a Head Start Program or a licensed community childcare program.
  • Driver's License and ability to be CPR certified.
