Job Summary:

As a Sales Support, you will play a vital role in assisting our customers and contributing to the success of our team. This is an entry-level position that provides a unique opportunity to learn and grow with a dynamic company like Fastenal.

Key Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position are designed to challenge and engage you daily. Some of your tasks will include:

•Assisting with sales and customer service to ensure exceptional customer experiences
•Managing inventory to optimize stock levels and efficiency
•Placing and fulfilling orders to meet customer needs
•Receiving and shipping inventory to maintain a smooth supply chain
•Performing deliveries with a company vehicle, utilizing your excellent driving skills and attention to detail

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

•Be at least 18 years old, with a valid driver's license and a good driving record
•Possess a degree in Business or Marketing, or have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market
•Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, as well as proficiency in computer software
•Show a strong aptitude for math, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency
•Exhibit strong sales skills, a desire to sell, and a customer-focused attitude
•Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented, with a strong sense of teamwork and integrity
•Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25-50 pounds, with occasional heavier loads
