Job Overview
As a key member of the Systems Integration team, the Senior Application Engineer plays a vital role in enhancing the operations of the credit union by architecting, developing, and delivering sophisticated, efficient, and innovative technology solutions.

These solutions may involve the integration of third-party applications, the development of new in-house programs, or a combination of both approaches. The ultimate goal of these technology solutions is to empower Ent to achieve or surpass various strategic business objectives.

Core Responsibilities
Analysis / Modeling / Design:
- Spearheads the creation of comprehensive systems, often mentoring and guiding team members while defining the overall system architecture.
- Translates functional specifications regarding business challenges into effective designs.
- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including programming, testing, and debugging for large-scale systems.
- Engages in the RFP/RFI process as necessary.

Development:
- Configures and develops new programs of increasing complexity and scope, involving multiple systems and their interdependencies.
- Conducts code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with established standards.

Communication:
- Performs technical evaluations of candidates and current team members.
- Provides insights to management regarding staff performance related to technology, though does not conduct formal reviews.
- Reports on the status of activities, issues, and projects to IT management.
- Assists management in planning and overseeing the operational and technical activities of the team, including workload and resource distribution.

Maintenance:
- Offers technical support and resolves issues for customer inquiries concerning in-house application infrastructure.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Undertakes other duties as assigned.

Compliance:
- Remains aware of and adheres to Ent's policies and procedures, as well as regulations related to the Bank Secrecy Act.
