We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator/Staff Nurse to join our team at OhioHealth. This role combines the responsibilities of a Clinical Educator and a Staff RN, providing educational support and general nursing care to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide educational support to designated clinical units, including needs assessments and standardized education in area of expertise.
- Design and implement education based on educational standards, evidence-based practice, and OhioHealth policy.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide general nursing care to patients and families.
- Assist in the development of education programs and materials.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- RN license or licensed/certified in assigned clinical area of expertise.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- 3-5 years of experience in designated clinical area.
- 2+ years of experience in education, adult development, and strong communication skills.
This position is for 20 hours a week in education and 20 hours a week in staffing. The work schedule is variable, with a total of 40 hours per week.
